There are two airports that service the San Miguel area: Leon (BJX) and Queretaro (QRO). Both airports are just over one hour from San Miguel and are a safe drive. Travel can also be booked into Mexico City (MEX)

The Queretaro airport is about an hour away from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. There are several flights a day on various airlines

The Mexico City airport is about three and a half hours from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
